Paul is a counsellor with a difference - rather than telling clients what to do, Paul helps people make their own decisions. He focuses on the positive aspect of relationships rather than the negative, giving people new insights into their lives. He empowers his clients by providing them with the skills and techniques for coping with those unavoidable life crises, improving relationships, managing stress, handling difficult situations and developing a healthy work/life balance - techniques which can be used for a lifetime.
He helps his clients address and resolve a wide range of issues, including: adjusting to the arrival of children, improving communication skills within relationships, putting relationships back on track, aligning individual priorities in a relationship, identifying and changing non-productive patterns of behaviour, resolving conflict, coping with the loss of family members and helping relationships cope with a changing environment.
Before setting up in private practice 20 years ago, Paul was Regional Manager at Marriage Guidance (now known as Relationships Australia) for eight years. He has lectured at the Cumberland College of Health Sciences and conducted training courses for universities, TAFE, and government departments.
